These works emerged out of my own personal sea shift. My first home was being gutted and rebuilt when my first born was an infant. We were playing with her blocks (offcuts from the renovations) when I noticed potential for unique scale and spatial relationships. I made some tiny ladders out of scraps and took the blocks to my studio.

In hindsight I see this work as a reflection of my inner turmoil and the chaos around me.
